Star Flyer has announced its interim financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2025. The net profit amounted to ¥664 million.
The revenue was ¥20.873 billion, operating profit was ¥312 million, and ordinary profit was ¥641 million. This revenue marks a record high for an interim financial result. Foreign exchange gain, recorded as non-operating income, contributed ¥326 million.
The full-year financial forecast has been revised downwards to: revenue of ¥42.44 billion (a decrease of ¥250 million from the previous forecast), operating profit of ¥630 million (a decrease of ¥580 million), ordinary profit of ¥1.12 billion (a decrease of ¥600 million), and net profit of ¥970 million (a decrease of ¥400 million).
A weaker yen than the assumed exchange rate of 140 yen is expected, which is likely to increase operating expenses such as maintenance costs denominated in foreign currencies and aircraft lease fees.
