Air France-KLM reported an operating profit of 1.18 billion euros for the third quarter of 2024.
The company experienced a 160 million euro downturn due to decreased demand associated with the Paris Olympics. Employees were paid a one-time bonus of 60 million euros for their successful work during the Olympics.
On the other hand, the Olympics have showcased Air France-KLM’s operational expertise and capabilities, and are expected to enhance the long-term effects on the group by improving the visibility of France as a destination.
The number of passengers was 27.9 million, a 3.6% increase compared to the previous year, and the seat occupancy rate maintained a favorable 89%.
