Skymark Reports a Net Loss of 590 Million Yen for the April-September 2024 Period
Skymark announced its interim financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2025, reporting a net loss of 590 million yen.
The company posted a revenue of 54.488 billion yen, an operating profit of 2.324 billion yen, and an ordinary profit of 95 million yen. Despite recording the highest number of passengers ever, operating profit decreased compared to the same period of the previous year due to rising fuel costs. The company also recorded a foreign exchange loss of 2.252 billion yen due to the appreciation of the yen, which affected the valuation of its foreign currency-denominated assets.
The full-year financial forecast remains unchanged, with projected revenues of 112.2 billion yen, an operating profit of 3.5 billion yen, an ordinary profit of 3.6 billion yen, and a net profit of 4.2 billion yen.
