J-Cast Airways Secures 200 Million Yen from Companies in the San’in Region, Totaling 650 Million Yen
J-Cast Airways has raised 200 million yen in its pre-Series A funding round.
The investors are Umilai, Sanrei Foods, Jet System, San’in Sanso Kogyo, San’in Chuo Television Broadcasting, Sanko, Shimane Denko Group, Marie Yasuiro, and Miho Technos, making up a total of 9 companies. This brings the cumulative funding amount to 650 million yen.
J-Cast Airways, a regional airline established in June 2023, is aiming to commence operations in the spring of 2026. Based at Kansai International Airport, the airline plans to operate two routes to Toyama and Yonago.
