Solaseed Air will operate the ‘First Sunrise & New Year’s Visit Flight 2025’ on January 1, 2025.
The flight departs Tokyo’s Haneda Airport early in the morning, offering a view of the first sunrise of the year from an altitude of 17,000 feet near Mt. Fuji, before heading to Miyazaki Airport. Onboard, passengers will be served New Year’s special dishes made with ingredients from Kyushu and Okinawa, and Kyushu wines selected by cabin crew with sommelier qualifications. Passengers will receive a Solaseed Air amulet leather case, a letter from Kobe Petit Gofuru, a Solaseed Air original Kuruppy, Solaseed Sora-zuke, a boarding certificate, and an original route map as gifts.
After arriving at Miyazaki Airport, passengers will split into four courses to visit New Year’s landmarks. The ‘Aoshima Course’ offers views of the Horikiri Pass by car and a visit to Aoshima. The ‘Aoshima & Nichinan Course’ includes Horikiri Pass, Roadside Station Phoenix, Sunmesse Nichinan, and Aoshima. The ‘Takachiho Course’ tours Amanoiwato Shrine, Amanoyasugawara, and Takachiho Gorge. The ‘Takachiho Full Enjoyment Course’ involves visiting Takachiho Shrine, walking through Takachiho Gorge, and riding the Takachiho Amaterasu Railway. All options include lunch.
All courses are day trips from Tokyo/Haneda, with the ‘Aoshima Course’ also offering a 1-night plan from Miyazaki the day before. Prices per person start from 68,000 yen for the ‘Aoshima Course’ from Tokyo/Haneda, 78,000 yen for departures from Miyazaki, 71,000 yen for the ‘Aoshima & Nichinan Course,’ 73,500 yen for the ‘Takachiho Course,’ and 76,500 yen for the ‘Takachiho Full Enjoyment Course.’ Prices include tax.
