Lufthansa German Airlines is rolling out a seat selection service for its new cabin concept ‘Lufthansa Allegris’.
The service will start on March 30, 2025, for flights from Munich to Shanghai/Pudong, San Francisco, and Chicago. Over the coming weeks to months, the range of routes offered will be expanded.
Selection of classic seats in Business Class will be free, while selecting Business Class Suites, Extra Space seats, Window Privacy seats, and the 2.2-meter Extra Long beds will incur a charge. Prices start at 400 Euros for Business Class Suites, 130 Euros for Extra Space seats, and 100 Euros for all others. Mileage program members can receive discounts of up to 80% depending on their status.
Seat selection for First Class suites is free, and using a wider Suite Plus on a single-use basis incurs an additional charge of 1,900 Euros.
