Keikyu Corporation to Operate Special ‘First Day’ Train on January 1, Extending Last Trains on New Year’s Eve without Overnight Service
Keikyu Corporation has announced a special timetable for the New Year’s holiday period.
On New Year’s Eve, December 31, the last trains will be postponed. After the usual last trains, there will be a total of six additional trains, including services from Kanazawa Bunko Station to Keikyu Kurihama Station, from Horinouchi Station to Uraga Station, from Kanagawa Shinmachi Station to Keikyu Kurihama Station, and from Uraga Station to Yokohama Station. No overnight services will be operated.
On New Year’s Day, January 1, a special express train, the ‘First Day’ service, will operate. It will depart from Shinagawa Station at 4:57 AM and arrive at Miura Kaigan Station at 6:10 AM.
Furthermore, from December 28 to January 5, trains will run on a weekend/holiday schedule. On the Daishi Line, a ‘special timetable’ will be set from January 1 to 7 and January 11 to 13, 2025, with trains running at approximately six-minute intervals during the daytime.
