IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to simultaneously open three mid-scale brand “Ganar” hotels on January 16, 2025.
The locations set to open are: “Ganar Hotel Osaka Honmachi Station” (formerly Hotel WBF Hommachi), “Ganar Hotel Osaka Hommachi Midosuji” (formerly Hotel WBF Kitahama EAST), and “Ganar Hotel Osaka Honmachi Kitahama” (formerly Hotel WBF Kitahama WEST).
Ganar is positioned as a casual mid-scale brand with the brand promise of being “A relaxed base for all journeys.” It features three key characteristics: “Relax in your own way” where guests can spend time as they like, “Enjoy at your own pace” with drinks and snacks available 24/7, and “Fully embrace individuality” celebrating the differences between guests, staff, and the hotel itself.
Guests can enjoy casual lounges known as “Social Hubs,” a 24-hour marketplace, and unique experiences such as welcome drinks and snacks incorporating Osaka’s local flavors.
Starting December 3, a campaign will run on Instagram, followed by a special event at SHIBUYA109 on December 9, and a promotion from December 9 to 15 at Shinjuku Station offering original Pake zip bags in collaboration with the zipper bag brand “Pake.”
