Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo announces the ‘New Year’s Family Buffet featuring a Giant Toy Rail and the Tokaido Shinkansen’, to be held on January 1st and 2nd, 2025.
The menu will include ‘Beef Steak’, ‘Roast Beef’, ‘Shrimp and Scallop Gratin’, ‘Pâté de Campagne’, ‘Veal Alyumette Pie’, ‘Sangenton Pork Loin Grill’, ‘Black Pork and Seafood Shumai’, ‘Train Cake inspired by the Shinkansen’, ‘French Toast’, etc. Beverages available will be ‘Draft Beer’, ‘Wine’, ‘Whiskey’, ‘Japanese Sake’, and soft drinks.
In addition, there will be a ‘Giant Toy Rail’ where you can run your own toy rail, a ‘Tokaido Shinkansen Photo Exhibition’, ‘JR Tokai Merchandise Sale’, a ‘JR Tokai Uniform Try-on Photo Spot Corner for Children’, as well as a New Year’s Shishimai (Lion Dance) performance. There will also be a fun raffle with prizes including hotel stay vouchers.
The event will take place in the banquet hall. There are two sessions: the first from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and the second from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Prices start from 10,000 yen for adults, 5,000 yen for elementary school students, and 3,000 yen for toddlers (ages 3 and up), including tax and service charges.
