Fauchon Hotel Kyoto will offer the ‘Amaou Valentine Afternoon Tea’ from February 1 to 14, in celebration of the Valentine’s period.
The Amaou Afternoon Tea, which started on January 8, will be presented in a Valentine’s version with an added chocolate flavor. The menu features delights such as ‘Amaou Earl Grey Chocolate Tart’ using Fauchon’s Earl Grey tea, ‘Chocolat Bonbon’, ‘Chocolate Pudding’, ‘Carrot Cake Salé and Prosciutto Strawberry’, ‘Scallop and Amaou Marinated’, ‘Cod and Mentaiko Brandade’, and two types of scones, offering savory dishes and sweets with Valentine’s inspired toppings to savor the chocolate and Amaou flavors. Drinks include ‘Grand Tea Master’s Special Welcome Tea – Amaou Ver.’ as well as Fauchon original teas, fruit juices, and coffee available in free flow.
On the first floor at ‘Pastry & Boutique Fauchon’, hotel original chocolates ‘Bises Bises Meets Kyoto’ (2,800 yen) and ‘Tablet Chocolat’ (1,280 yen each) will be sold as Valentine’s chocolates.
The event takes place on the 10th floor at ‘Salon de Thé Fauchon’. Available session times are from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, each with a 2-hour limit. The price starts from 7,000 yen per person, inclusive of tax and service charge.
