Toba International Hotel will hold the “Strawberry Fair” from March 1 to 31.
In the afternoon tea, which changes themes every month, they offer a mini burger with Mie Prefecture’s Mikumano beef and strawberries, a strawberry fruit sandwich, savory items like strawberry and blue seaweed pork prosciutto, a monthly cheesecake titled “Strawberry Cheesecake,” and scones made with strawberries. For beverages, they offer teas and herbal teas from “Taylors of Harrogate” and Ise black tea from Mie Prefecture.
The venue is “The Lobby Lounge.” Service hours are from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM and from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, requiring advance reservations by 6:00 PM the day before with a limit of 20 servings. The price is 3,960 yen. Take-out afternoon tea is 9,720 yen for two people.
Additionally, they offer “Strawberry Tart” (5,400 yen, reservation required three days in advance), which features strawberries fully covered with crisp tart pastry, and “Monthly Cheesecake” (4,428 yen) with a sweet and sour strawberry flavor and refreshing aroma.
