The Capitol Hotel Tokyu is holding ‘The Capitol Strawberry Fair 2025’ until March 31.
At the lounge “ORIGAMI,” they offer “The Capitol Afternoon Tea – Spring -” which features sweets and savory items using strawberries, as well as a berry-themed afternoon tea utilizing the unique characteristics of berries such as tayberries, blueberries, and sea buckthorns. Service hours are from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (last order) with a 150-minute time limit. Prices are 8,855 yen for the tea set, 12,650 yen for the glass champagne set, and 16,445 yen for the glass champagne free-flow set (90 minutes). Reservations can be made on the website.
Additionally, they offer a “Strawberry Parfait” (3,036 yen) that layers berry and strawberry sauce with fresh cream, combining sweetness, tanginess, and saltiness; a “German Strawberry Pancake” (1,897 yen) with a chewy dough topped with sautéed fresh strawberries, butter, and maple syrup; and “Strawberry Drinks” (1,518 yen) such as shakes and ice creams full of strawberries.
