Keisei Electric Railway Merges with Shin-Keisei and Begins Operating Keisei Matsudo Line
Ueda Railway will implement a timetable revision on the Bessho Line on March 15.
Between Ueda and Shimonogo stations, the frequency of trains during weekdays in the daytime will be increased to every 30 minutes. There will be three trains per hour during weekday mornings and evenings. Consequently, the number of trains arriving and departing Ueda Station will increase from the current 28 to 39. Additionally, transfer times will be extended to allow more time to change from Shinano Railway.
This increase in services primarily focuses on improving the number of daytime operations to enhance convenience and recover the number of passengers. It is planned to be conducted as a pilot project for about five years.
