Hong Kong Express Airways will resume operations on the Ishigaki–Hong Kong route on April 3.
They will conduct one round-trip per day. Although they initially announced plans to resume operations in June 2023 after suspending due to the impact of COVID-19, it was postponed because the setup for accepting flights at Ishigaki was not ready.
The routes to and from Okinawa will expand to two routes, including the Okinawa/Naha–Hong Kong line, making it easier for travelers to tour multiple destinations.
