MAVCOM Cancels Batik Air Malaysia’s Traffic Rights for Nagoya/Chubu & Okinawa/Naha – Taipei/Taoyuan – Kota Kinabalu Route
Air Seoul will increase flights on the Yonago-Seoul/Incheon route starting March 30.
On February 18, this was revealed in a meeting between Tottori Prefecture Governor Shinji Hirai and Air Seoul’s CEO Kim Jun-ho. Tottori Prefecture held an information liaison meeting to promote the route and boost usage.
Currently operating 3 round trips per week on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, they will add operations on Monday and Thursday. The aircraft used will be Airbus A321. The required time is 1 hour 30 minutes to 1 hour 55 minutes from Yonago, and 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 25 minutes from Seoul/Incheon.
Air Seoul began operating this route in October 2016, taking over from its parent company Asiana Airlines. Although they once operated up to 6 weekly round trips, they suspended operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They resumed with 3 weekly round trips in October 2023 and high occupancy rates have led to the decision to increase flights.
