Korean Air Unveils New Livery on 787-10 After 41 Years, First Flight to Tokyo/Narita
Air France has announced its new La Première first class seats.
The suite offers a space 25% larger than before, approximately 4.5 square meters, with space for five windows, and is available in four suites designed by Stelia Aerospace.
The development took about three years, consisting of a seat that becomes a full-size bed and a bench. The seat can be adjusted for any stage like takeoff, landing, dining, and relaxation modes, reaching a length of two meters and a width of 75 centimeters when in bed form. The leather headrest embossed with the seahorse emblem and ergonomically based padding provides optimal comfort.
Each suite is enclosed with a thick curtain covering from floor to ceiling for complete privacy, with the central seat having an electrically sliding partition. There are two 4K monitors, each 32 inches in size, with Bluetooth connectivity. They also support AC power, USB-A and USB-C power, and wireless charging.
The cabin design features a harmonious gray theme with leather trim, using specially crafted fabrics. The overhead luggage compartment is replaced with floor-level storage, accommodating up to two carry-on suitcases in a sliding drawer. Additionally, there is storage for footwear and a wardrobe.
It will be introduced on some Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, starting operations this spring. Initially deployed on the Paris/Charles de Gaulle to New York/John F. Kennedy route, it is also scheduled to operate to Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo/Haneda in the summer schedule.
La Première is currently serving routes between Paris/Charles de Gaulle and Abidjan, Dubai, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/John F. Kennedy, San Francisco, São Paulo, Singapore, Tokyo/Haneda, and Washington.
