All Nippon Airways (ANA) will launch a tie-up with Chiikawa and introduce the specially designed “Chiikawa Jet” (Boeing 767-300ER, registration JA609A) in late October.
The Chiikawa Jet features eight characters, including Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi. Around the characters are motifs that can be seen throughout the four seasons in locations across Japan. The aircraft will operate on domestic routes.
The cabin headrest covers will feature the Chiikawa characters appearing on the aircraft. The limited-edition cups, available for both hot and cold beverages, will depict Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi. Both items will be available in Economy Class; the headrest covers may not be taken home.
In addition, specially designed collaboration merchandise featuring the Chiikawa characters wearing ANA uniforms is scheduled to be released. Further details will be announced at a later date.
