JR East Offers Unlimited One-Day Pass for 10,000 Yen – Weekdays Only, Shinkansen Included
JR East is rolling out a limited-time offer to stimulate weekday railway use, introducing the ‘Travel Weekdays! JR East Tabikyun Early Discount Pass,’ which provides unlimited travel on all JR East lines, including shinkansen and limited express trains, for just 10,000 yen for one day.
In addition to all JR East lines, the pass includes travel on the Aoimori Railway Line, Iwate Galaxy Railway Line, Sanriku Railway Line, Hokuhoku Express Line, and the ordinary and rapid trains between Joetsu and Arai stations on the Echigo Tokimeki Railway Line. It also covers unreserved seats on shinkansen and limited express trains and BRT for one day. Pass holders are also allowed to reserve up to two ordinary car seats on shinkansen and limited express trains.
The pass is available for use from February 14 to March 14, 2024, on weekdays only. It goes on sale from one month before the utilization date until 14 days prior, exclusively through ‘Ekikunetto’. There is no child discount for this pass.
