Hokkaido Air System (HAC) has announced that it will conclude the operation of its ‘Snow Miku’ themed aircraft (ATR42-600 registration JA12HC) as of December 19th.
The ‘Snow Miku’ themed aircraft features illustrations of Snow Miku and the rabbit Yukine near the rear door on the left side and at the front on the right side of the plane. It commenced operations on December 27th, 2022.
Snow Miku, a character created to support Hokkaido, originated from a pure white snow sculpture of ‘Hatsune Miku’ at Sapporo’s Snow Festival in 2010.
