Lufthansa will introduce aircraft equipped with the new cabin specification “Allegris” on the Tokyo/Haneda-Munich route.
From October 26, one round trip per day will be operated. The Airbus A350-900, with a total of 267 seats, will be used, offering 4 First Class seats, 38 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy Class seats, and 201 Economy Class seats.
The “First Class Suite Plus” is about 1 meter wide and features hot and cold functions tailored to the user’s preferences. Smartphones can be connected to the in-flight entertainment system. The walls and doors reach the ceiling, creating a fully private space.
Business Class offers five seat types, with the front row suite equipped with doors, ensuring privacy with high partitions and sliding doors. The central seats allow for divider adjustments for dual use. Monitors are 4K compatible, large at 27 inches.
Seats beyond the front row do not have doors but feature a staggered arrangement for a sense of privacy. The central “Extra Space Seat” is business-friendly with space to place items on the side desks. The “Extra Long Bed” is a long bed measuring 2.2 meters, and the “Privacy Seat” offers more privacy at the window side. The “Classic Seat” faces the aisle.
For the winter schedule, there are plans to operate ten Airbus A350-900 aircraft with the new specifications. There are also plans to expand to Boeing 787-9 aircraft based in Frankfurt within the year and to refurbish existing Boeing 747-8 aircraft.
