
American Airlines Begins Operating Refurbished Boeing 777-300ER
Qantas Airways will introduce an Airbus A330-300 leased from Finnair on its Tokyo/Haneda–Sydney route from October 25.
The aircraft is configured with a total of 279 seats: 28 in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy Class, and 230 in Economy Class. In line with this change, Premium Economy Class will be introduced on the same date.
The aircraft will operate flights QF26 and QF25. Flights QF60 and QF59 will continue to use Qantas Airways’ 297-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
Qantas Airways has been leasing Finnair Airbus A330-300 aircraft since 2023. Initially operated as a wet lease with Finnair aircraft and crew, the aircraft are now operated by Qantas Airways crews as dry-leased aircraft on routes from Sydney to Singapore, Honolulu, and Manila.
