
Korean Air Introduces the Latest Boeing 787-10 Aircraft with Private Suites in Business Class on Tokyo/Narita Route
Japan Airlines (JAL) has begun the retirement maintenance of its first delivered Boeing 777-300ER aircraft (Registration: JA731J) starting May 28.
The aircraft completed its commercial operations with flight JL80 from Shanghai Pudong to Tokyo Haneda on May 27. The flight cycle was 10,606, and the total flight hours were 87,615.70. Engine work is being carried out at spot 212, and it will be moved into the hangar for full-scale maintenance.
This aircraft was delivered to JAL on June 15, 2004, as the first 777-300ER and initiated its operations with a flight from Tokyo Narita to Singapore on July 1 the same year. The current cabin configuration is a total of 244 seats, with First Class “JAL SUITE” offering 8 seats in a “1-2-1” layout, Business Class “JAL SKY SUITE” with 49 seats in a “2-3-2” layout, Premium Economy Class “JAL SKY PREMIUM” with 40 seats in a “2-3-2” layout, and Economy Class “JAL SKY WIDER” with 147 seats in a “3-3-3” layout.
