JAL and AA Consider Adding Alaska Airlines Group to Joint Venture
AIRDO (Air Do) will begin a trial allowing ground staff to wear sneakers from July 1.
Currently, staff wear black pumps or leather shoes with a heel height of up to 5 centimeters. To expand options for employees and create a more comfortable working environment, those who wish can now wear plain black sneakers while on duty. The trial period will run until August 31, with plans to start full implementation around September.
Beginning on the same day, there will be a relaxation of the business casual dress code for office staff, allowing T-shirts, hoodies, turtlenecks, collarless shirts, and sneakers. Uniformed employees will also be allowed to wear casual clothes during training and exercises.
