Japan Airlines (JAL), Loyalty Marketing, and KDDI are conducting a “20% Up Campaign for Mileage Exchange Rate from Ponta to JAL Miles,” where the usual exchange rate is increased when converting Ponta points to JAL Mileage Bank miles, from July 1 to 31.
The promotion is targeted at JMB×Ponta members or JMB Lawson Ponta Card Visa holders who are also JAL Mileage Bank members in Japan. The exchange rate from Ponta to miles is usually 1 mile per 2 Ponta points, but an additional 20% bonus miles are provided. Miles less than 1 mile will be rounded down.
The additional miles will be credited separately from the usual miles around the end of August. Those who cancel their JMB×Ponta membership or withdraw from the JMB Lawson Ponta Card Visa by the time the bonus miles are credited will be ineligible.
