
AirAsia to Introduce up to 70 Airbus A321XLR Aircraft for One-Stop Routes to Europe and America
Air Algérie has ordered 16 ATR72-600 aircraft.
Equipped with PW127XT engines, the aircraft will have 72 seats and are scheduled to be operated by the newly established regional subsidiary, Domestic Airlines. Deliveries are planned from 2026 to 2028. A full-flight simulator, the first in Africa, will also be introduced.
Air Algérie began operating ATR aircraft in 2003 and placed orders in 2008 and 2014. The current fleet consists of 15 aircraft, including 12 ATR72-500 and 3 ATR72-600 models.
