“Kansai International Airport Sky View” Special Opening on July 12 and 13
Hokkaido Airport will open the food court “HAKODATE GOURMET PORT” at Hakodate Airport on August 5.
The entire dining area on the 3rd floor has been completely renovated, and five stores will be launched under the concept of “accumulating the charm of Hakodate and Southern Hokkaido as a ‘shine of the region’ and transmitting it nationwide and worldwide.”
The stores that will open include the popular ramen shop “Matsukasa” from Nanae, the curry restaurant “méli mélo-ken” produced by a popular restaurant managed by a Michelin chef from Hakodate, the famous pork dish specialty “Hikoma Buta KITCHEN” using pork from the Southern Hokkaido Agro Farm in Mori, the seafood restaurant “Hakodate Dining Masaya,” and “Konishi Fish Shop Kibushishokudou,” offering menus that utilize local ingredients. The area will be approximately 647 square meters, with 246 seats available. The operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
A pre-opening event will be held on the day before the opening, August 4, inviting the first 200 local residents. The opening ceremony on August 5 will be attended by celebrity guests such as actor Masahiro Matsuoka, who has started a dual life between Tokyo and Hakodate, and Matsuzumi Jun, the Mayor of Hakodate.
