Ooedo-Onsen-Monogatari Hotels & Resorts opened the ‘Ooedo-Onsen-Monogatari Wanwan Resort Shinshu Ueda’ on July 11.
The building is the former Sakura-kan of Ooedo-Onsen-Monogatari Kakeyu. All guest rooms are pet-friendly, and there are two types: Japanese-style and Western-style. The tatami mats and carpets in the guest rooms have been renewed, and an air sterilizer deodorizer ‘Ziaino’ has been installed. Amenities for dogs are also provided.
The facility includes an approximately 180-square-meter indoor dog run, a self-grooming corner, a dedicated foot washing area for dogs, and photo spots. In addition, a new bath for dogs has been installed in the existing private bath. Guests can enjoy bathing with their dogs. Meals are served in the renovated restaurant with a buffet, and special menus for dogs such as hamburger steak plates, pork sauté, and cakes are available.
Access is approximately 50 minutes by car from Tobu Yunomaru Interchange (IC) on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway or 50 minutes by car from Matsumoto IC.
