JAL Begins Recruitment for ‘Connected Two-Region Lifestyle’ Program, Offering Miles to Support Transportation
JAL is recruiting participants for the two-region residence model ‘Connected Two-Region Lifestyle’ from July 14 to August 4.
This program offers participants the opportunity to experience living in two regions by establishing a second living area separate from their primary place of residence, fostering connections with that area. Participants are provided with JAL miles equivalent to a one-way trip. Besides offering these miles, the program includes various ‘connection experience menus’ such as agricultural experiences and ‘childcare center study’, allowing participants to deepen exchanges with the community and people while reducing travel costs through complimentary tickets.
The participating regions and capacity are Kamishihoro Town, Hokkaido (5 people), Tanabe City, Wakayama (10 people), Shirahama Town, Wakayama (10 people), Susami Town, Wakayama (10 people), Mitoyo City, Kagawa (5 people), and Iki City, Nagasaki (5 people). Participants must stay in the target region and use JAL Group-operated flights four or more round trips between Tokyo/Haneda or Osaka/Itami and the selected destination airport, to receive JAL miles equivalent to the basic miles x 4 one-way trips.
The target period is from September 1 to December 31. Applicants must be JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) members at the time of application. If applications exceed capacity, selection will be by lottery.
