Hilton Tokyo to Offer 3 Types of Mini Takeout Parfaits
Kamenoi Hotel Oarai reopened on July 18.
The hotel has newly added six “Premium Fours” rooms with open-air natural hot spring baths. The interior features wallpaper depicting waves, foot covers inspired by bubbles floating on the sea surface, and lighting brackets modeled after Mito City’s Suifu lanterns in Ibaraki Prefecture. The open-air baths use Oarai Onsen water. In line with this, the existing “Deluxe Japanese-Western Room with Open-Air Bath,” “Deluxe Triple with Open-Air Bath,” and “Deluxe Japanese-Western Room with View Bath” have also been changed to use Oarai Onsen for the baths. Additionally, three new types of rooms have been introduced: one “Top Floor Superior Four,” two “Superior Triples,” and one “Superior Compact Twin (with Bath),” increasing the number of rooms from 52 to 62.
The restaurant spaces, both for dinner and breakfast, have been redesigned with a wood theme. The dinner seating has increased from 52 to 82, while breakfast seating has grown from 104 to 116. For dinner, they offer a kaiseki meal featuring Hitachi beef prepared as roast beef and abalone grilled on the spot, sourced from the nearby Pacific Ocean. The breakfast includes monkfish soup finished in miso and grilled monkfish prepared in a live kitchen, with a buffet of approximately 65 Western and Japanese dishes using local ingredients.
