Lufthansa Group and Fraport are introducing the AI camera solution “seer” at Frankfurt Airport.
“seer” is a technology developed by zeroG of Lufthansa Group, and development and testing have been conducted since 2023. Trial operations were conducted at specific parking stands from February to May 2024, and it is currently deployed at five locations.
The process of attaching boarding bridges, loading luggage, and refueling when an aircraft arrives is recorded and optimized by cameras. By enhancing data transparency and adjusting operations appropriately, it is expected to have positive effects on overall airport operations.
The deployment will increase to 20 locations in the third quarter of this year and will be expanded gradually afterwards.
