Choice Hotels Japan reopened the Comfort Hotel Toyokawa on June 30 after renovations.
A total of 143 guest rooms, hallways, elevator halls, and the front desk have been renovated.
The guest room walls feature art panels reflecting symbolic spots, culture, and industry of Toyokawa City, such as Toyokawa Inari, hand-held fireworks of the Toyokawa Hand-held Fireworks Festival, and photos of the Shinkansen. The Twin Standard rooms are now adorned with armchairs, warm orange accent cloths, and light gray ceiling cloths with a pearl sheen. The carpets have designs inspired by soft natural light. The Double Economy and Single High-Class rooms include accent cloths inspired by the national natural monument, the Goyu Pine Avenue. The bathrooms are equipped with thermostatic faucets (Comfort Wave Showers) and USB ports (Type-A) have been installed on the headboards. Desk chairs have also been renewed.
The shared hallways and elevator halls feature carpets inspired by the stone pavements of the approach to Toyokawa Inari and accent cloths inspired by the colors of the aprons of the fox statues at Toyokawa Inari.
