Solaseed Air will change its reservation and boarding procedures from May 19, 2026.
This change aligns with the revised Domestic Passenger Transport Terms and Conditions effective on the same day. As a result, tickets for boarding before May 18, 2026, cannot be changed after May 19.
The handling of open tickets will cease. The fare categories for children will be modified, defining infants as ages 0–1 (currently 0–2) and children as ages 2–11 (currently 3–11). The use of confirmation numbers will be discontinued, and to confirm a reservation, the reservation number (6 alphanumeric characters) or ticket number (13 numeric characters) listed on the e-ticket receipt will be required. Currently, passengers’ names are entered in Katakana when reserving, but from this date, it will be necessary to enter them in Hepburn-style Romanization or alphabetically.
Regarding checked baggage, as of now, luggage with a total dimension within 203 centimeters and a weight total of up to 20 kilograms can be checked in without any quantity limit. From the same date, luggage can be checked for free up to a maximum of two items, each weighing up to 23 kilograms, and the total dimension of each within 158 centimeters. For an additional fee, luggage weighing up to 45 kilograms per item, with a total dimension within 292 centimeters, can be checked up to a total of 100 kilograms.
Additionally, some boarding procedures and various services and procedures at airports will be modified. Further details will be announced later.
