Panasonic will close the Monozukuri Spirit Hall within the Panasonic Museum on December 26.
The closure is due to the deterioration of the building. Originally opened in 1968 as the Matsushita Electric History Museum to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s founding, it was temporarily reopened as part of the Panasonic Museum in 2018. The hall has displayed approximately 550 historical products and held special exhibitions.
After the closure, the Panasonic Museum will operate only the Konosuke Matsushita History Museum, with Sakura Square remaining under the company’s management.
