Hotel Metropolitan Marunouchi in Tokyo, Japan, revamped its Kid Railfan Plan accommodation package on July 23.
The hotel is the first to introduce Mitsumura Printings original photo-item creation service HibiReco. In addition to the existing perkscommemorative photos wearing a JR East stationmaster uniform and a guaranteed train-view roomthe plan now lets guests create an A5-size photo book by simply uploading trip photos online from a smartphone or computer.
Two sets per night are provided of the hotels original train-pattern drawstring pouch and a childrens amenity set. Guest rooms come in six types, including Station-side Queen Room and Train-view Twin Room.
Rates start at 53,800 yen for two guests sharing one room. Up to one child per bed (elementary school children up to age 12) may share existing bedding. Taxes and service charge included. Breakfast is included for two adults and one child aged 4 to 12.
