Staple to Open SOIL Nihonbashi Hotel in Tokyo on September 1

Staple will open the SOIL Nihonbashi Hotel on September 1 in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

The property will offer 14 rooms across five types, including Studio Double, Studio Queen, and Park View Loft. Some rooms will feature cassette tape players.

The design is by the Kiyoaki Takeda Architectural Design Office, with a “Back-Alley Gardening” theme that places plants throughout the interior and exterior and adds a farm garden on the rooftop. On the first floor, the in-house pizzeria “Pizza Tane” will serve pizzas baked with sourdough crust and topped with seasonal vegetables. Artwork by Andreas Samuelsson will be displayed throughout the building, and Staple Studio has produced upcycled planters and stone speakers.

Rates start at JPY 27,200 for a Studio Double, JPY 47,600 for a Studio Queen, and JPY 80,750 for a Park View Loft. All prices include tax.

Access: 4 minutes on foot from Tokyo Metro Ningyocho Station and 9 minutes from Tokyo Metro Mitsukoshimae Station.
