Qatar Airways and China Southern Airlines will expand their codeshare partnership.
From October 16, they will place their codes on the Beijing Daxing–Doha route operated by China Southern Airlines, and on the Qatar Airways-operated Doha–Amman, Athens, Barcelona, Cairo, Dar es Salaam, Madrid, and Munich routes.
They have already been codesharing since April 2024 on the Guangzhou–Doha route operated by China Southern Airlines. Going forward, subject to approval by the Chinese government, they plan to expand to Qatar Airways-operated routes between Doha and Chengdu (Tianfu), Chongqing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai (Pudong).
