Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
Sunshine City Prince Hotel will offer a “Halloween & Shine Muscat Sweets Buffet” from September 1 to October 31.
They will present 32 types of sweets that evoke an eerie Halloween world. Highlights include the “Graveyard Centipede Chocolat,” finished with a glossy chocolate coating encasing smooth chocolate mousse; the “Blood-Soaked Raspberry Chocolat,” where tangy jelly harmonizes with a mellow, elegant chocolate mousse; the “Jet-Black Apple Tart,” inspired by a pitch-black night using bamboo charcoal; and the “Purple Sweet Potato Ghost Baumkuchen.” In addition, Shine Muscat grapes feature in three desserts and one savory dish. Of the two pasta options, the mushroom cream spaghetti is tossed in a bowl made from Grana Padano cheese and served on the spot.
From October 25 to 31, a parfait expressing the autumn season with Shine Muscat and chestnuts, and wagyu sirloin accompanied by wonton skins fashioned into ghosts, will each be served one plate per person.
Venue: “Cafe & Dining Chef’s Palette.” Hours: weekdays noon to 3:00 p.m.; weekends and holidays 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 90-minute limit. Prices: 4,500 yen on weekdays and 5,000 yen on weekends and holidays. An additional 500 yen applies from October 25 to 31. Tax included; service charge extra.
