Hong Kong International Airport to Resume Operations in Phases from Sept 25
Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) has published new fares and charges for charter buses.
To address the shortage of bus drivers, it is essential to raise wage levels to the all-industry average in Japan. The new fares are intended to secure the financial resources to achieve this.
On the same day, directors of the regional transport bureaus will announce benchmark amounts that take into account economic conditions and operator management circumstances in each region. Charter bus operators must file notifications of their new fares and charges between September 26 and October 24, and the application of the new fares and charges will begin by November 1.
If the acceptance of transportation has been agreed upon before the implementation date of the new fares and charges, the previous fares and charges may be applied even if the contract is concluded after the implementation date.
