Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan will offer the “Chestnut and Flavors of Autumn Afternoon Tea ‘Momiji’ — an exquisite Mont Blanc experience scented with freshly shaved truffle” from September 1 to October 31.
The menu features eight sweets, including “Sweet Potato Pudding,” “Truffle Chocolate,” and “Poire Noisette (Pear & Hazelnut),” plus three savory items such as “Chestnut & Hazelnut Tart with Ricotta Cheese, Truffle Flavor” and a “Charcoal-grilled Chicken Slider.” Drinks come with free-flow coffee and tea.
Available exclusively with the Premium Plan: the “Truffle Mont Blanc,” finished tableside with aromatic freshly shaved black truffle, and “Autumn Reverie,” a seasonal special mocktail combining autumn fruits with truffle and cinnamon.
Location: “District Brasserie, Bar and Lounge.” Hours: Afternoon Tea is from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; High Tea is from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; each with a 120-minute seating. Pricing: Standard Plan is JPY 7,000 on weekdays and JPY 7,800 on weekends and holidays. Premium Plan is JPY 9,800 on weekdays and JPY 10,600 on weekends and holidays.
