Rakuten Group has begun selling member-discount rates for IHG Hotels & Resorts’ loyalty program, IHG One Rewards (IHGワンリワーズ), on the travel booking site Rakuten Travel.
When you link both IDs and make a reservation through Rakuten Travel, you can choose either to earn both Rakuten Points and IHG One Rewards points, or to receive the IHG One Rewards points portion as Rakuten Points.
Rakuten and IHG Hotels & Resorts signed a memorandum of understanding in February 2024 with the aim of linking their member loyalty programs.
