Sotetsu Hotel Management will open the (tentative name) Sotetsu Fresa Inn Himeji in winter 2028.
The building will be 10 stories above ground, with 186 guest rooms planned. Sotetsu Hotel Development will lease the land and construct the building.
The Sotetsu Fresa Inn brand will mark its ninth property in the Kansai region of Japan and its second in Hyogo Prefecture, following Kobe-Sannomiya. This will bring the Sotetsu Group’s lodging-focused hotel portfolio to 61 properties.
Access: approximately a 4-minute walk from JR Sanyo Shinkansen and Sanyo Main Line Himeji Station, and a 7-minute walk from Sanyo Electric Railway Main Line Sanyo-Himeji Station. The property is expected to capture business demand as a hub for access to the Harima Coastal Industrial Area and, given its proximity to Himeji Castle, leisure demand as well.
