Lufthansa German Airlines will apply a 100th-anniversary special livery to six aircraft.
The aircraft are painted in dark blue; in addition to the airline’s trademark white crane, the characters 100 are displayed on the left side and underside, and 1926 / 2026 on the right side.
First up is the Boeing 787-9 ‘Berlin’ (registration: D-ABPU), which will receive the special livery and is scheduled to arrive in Frankfurt as early as December.
The special livery will subsequently be applied to an Airbus A380, Airbus A350-1000, Airbus A350-900, Airbus A320, and Boeing 747-8, with the full lineup expected by autumn 2026.
