Japan Airlines (JAL) Group to hold ‘JALunLun Black Friday 2025’ Nov 18–30
Airbus has revealed that, after analyzing incidents that occurred on Airbus A320 family aircraft, it found that under conditions such as strong solar radiation, data critical to flight-control functions may become corrupted.
It has requested immediate preventive measures from airlines via an Alert Operators Transmission (AOT). This is expected to be reflected in an Emergency Airworthiness Directive to be issued by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). A considerable number of aircraft currently in service may be affected.
Airbus stated, “We recognize that these recommendations may disrupt operations for passengers and our customers. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will prioritize safety and work closely with operators.”
