
Sumitomo Realty Villa Fontaine to Rebrand and Open Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo Hibiya in February 2026
Kanazawa Tokyu Hotel will offer the “Afternoon Tea ‘Kanazawa’ ~Winter Flavors~” from December 1 through February 28, 2026.
The color palette is kept understated with white as the base tone, accented with gold leaf, a specialty of Kanazawa, Japan. The sweets selection includes a shortcake made with pure white cream; a dessert combining a lemon-flavored jelly with gold leaf and pear compote; white chocolate kugel; a white Mont Blanc featuring Noto chestnut mousse and fromage blanc; lychee and coconut pâte de fruits; tiramisu-style chocolate; scones; and shiratama (rice flour dumplings) with coconut agar jelly.
The savory items include a fisherman’s wharf–style sandwich made with house-made rice flour bread, cauliflower tartelettes, snow-white potato soup, and seasonal vegetables with fromage. Drinks feature a welcome drink showcasing a white and purple gradation made from violet syrup and a white lactic acid drink, black teas selected by a certified tea taster, and seasonal limited-edition teas.
The venue is the 2nd-floor lounge “Marée d’Or.” Serving hours are from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The price is 5,000 yen, tax and service charge included.
