Japan’s MLIT Issues Heavy Snow Warning for December 3–4
i-mobile has begun offering Toyama Prefecture as a destination in “Furunavi Travel,” the travel experience-type return gift program from the Japanese hometown tax donation site “Furunavi.”
Points can be used at participating hotels and restaurants, including Mercure Toyama Tonami Resort & Spa, Natural Hot Spring Tsurugi-no-Yu Onyado Nono Toyama, Amaharashi Onsen Isohanabi, and Gokayama Onsen Gokayamaso, at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen.
“Furunavi Travel” is a service through which donors receive electronic points called “Furunavi Travel Points” as return gifts, which can be used with no expiration date at partner facilities such as hotels and restaurants in the municipalities to which they make their hometown tax donation. Donation amounts can be set freely from 10,000 yen and up, in increments of 100 yen. Points are granted immediately at a rate equivalent to 30% of the donation amount.
