JCB (Japan Credit Bureau) will launch a new service, “J-POINT,” from January 13, 2026.
The current point program for members, “Oki Doki Point,” will be renewed. JCB began tallying spending for the “J-POINT Bonus” on December 16, through which members can earn additional points for every 500,000 yen spent.
For members of the JCB Original Series, JCB will significantly expand the list of “J-POINT Partners,” where cardholders can earn more points than usual. In addition to restaurants and online services in Japan, mobile ordering will newly be added as an eligible category. The maximum reward rate will also be increased to 10%.
