The Taiwan Tourism Administration is operating the “Red Train to Taiwan! TRA × Keikyu 10th Anniversary Train” from November 3 through January 6, 2026.
In collaboration with Keikyu Corporation and Taiwan Railways, the train features a wrap on the sides of the cars depicting the characters “Keikyun,” “Teru,” “Hana-chan,” and “Obea.” Inside the train, posters introduce sightseeing spots along the Keikyu Line and in Taiwan.
The train used is formation 1201 of the Keikyu 1000 series, and only this single formation is in operation. The operating schedule is published on the Keikyu Corporation website, with the following day’s schedule updated at around 2:00 p.m. the day before.
In Taiwan, Taiwan Railways is operating a wrapped train through December 31 that is inspired by the “Bibi-Bibi! Taiwan Train,” which ran on the Keikyu Line last year.
