
Japan Hotel REIT to Acquire Hyatt Regency Tokyo and Add Extended-Stay Rooms
Accor and Patience Capital Group will add Madarao Kogen Hotel and Lime Resort Myoko in Japan to the MGallery Collection.
“Madarao Kogen Hotel – MGallery Collection” is scheduled to reopen at the end of 2027 after a full renovation, with a total of 80 guest rooms including standard, deluxe, and suite rooms. The hotel will feature multiple restaurants, a lobby lounge, a ski diner located at the intersection of ski slopes, and a newly built pool bar, as well as meeting facilities, hot spring baths, shops, and ski equipment rentals.
“Lime Resort Myoko – MGallery Collection” will offer 38 guest rooms, along with a restaurant, lounge café & bar, hot spring facilities, fitness area, and kids’ club. The two properties are located about a 30-minute drive apart and will be connected by a dedicated shuttle service.
Access from Tokyo is approximately 3 hours by car, or about 2 hours by a combination of Shinkansen (bullet train) and local trains.
