JR West announced today that a ‘Hikari’ service with all unreserved cars on the Sanyo Shinkansen will operate.
Starting at Hakata Station and heading to Shin-Osaka Station, the train will depart Hakata at 2:18 PM and is scheduled to arrive at Shin-Osaka at 5:07 PM. It will be operated using an 8-car N700 series train configuration.
All cars are unreserved, and passengers holding non-reserved seat limited express tickets can find a seat. Green car reserved tickets will be sold on board.
