ANA to End Use of Partner Domestic Airlines for Mileage Redemption
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will temporarily suspend “Toku-tabi Miles This Week,” a campaign that allows ANA Mileage Club members to redeem domestic award tickets for fewer miles than usual.
Due to a service malfunction, the campaign will be temporarily suspended starting from the route announcement on January 13. ANA will announce the resumption date at a later time.
From the announcement on January 6, ANA had changed the eligible travel period to flights from the Saturday of the following week through the Friday of the week after that. In conjunction with an overhaul of its passenger service system, ANA had temporarily suspended the campaign with the March 31 announcement, stating that the resumption timing would be announced around summer.
“Toku-tabi Miles This Week” is a campaign under which domestic award tickets, which normally require 6,000 miles per segment, can be redeemed from 3,000 miles. Tickets issued under the campaign are valid only for the reserved flight, and reservation changes are permitted only within the eligible travel period and on the same sector. A handling fee of 3,000 miles is required for refunds.
